Wreaths Across America at the Alexandria National Cemetery

Wreaths Across America will be at Alexandria National Cemetery on Saturday December 17, 2022, starting at 9:30 a.m. to Remember and Honor our veterans by the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each of every veteran aloud.

Please honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Saturday December 17, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

• PLEASE donate a Wreath.  With over 4,230 Veterans’ grave sites in the ALEXANDRIA NATIONAL CEMETERY please consider donating a Wreath so that volunteers can populate as many Veterans’ graves as possible.  To sponsor a wreath PLEASE CLICK HERE  or SCAN THIS CODE:
• Please note, for every 2 wreaths sponsored through VFW 609’s Wreaths Across America page, a 3rd wreath will be matched for free to the cemetery. That will help VFW Post 609 reach its goal of honoring every veteran laid to rest in the Alexandria National Cemetery with a remembrance wreath.
