National Vietnam War Veterans Day

March 29 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us on Friday, March 29th at 9:00 AM at Alexandria National Cemetery as we honor our nation’s heroes on National Vietnam War Veterans Day. American Legion Post 24 and VFW Post 609 will come together to conduct a solemn wreath presentation ceremony, followed by an opportunity for attendees to place American flags on the graves of 51 Vietnam Veterans laid to rest in this hallowed ground.

The event will be led by A.L. 24’s Donna Reuss, who will serve as the Master of Ceremonies and lend her beautiful voice to lead us in singing “God Bless America.” Covanta Energy will generously provide light refreshments.

This event is free and open to the public, allowing everyone in the community to come together and pay their respects to our Vietnam Veterans.

Join us in paying tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed so much during the Vietnam War. Let us come together as a community to remember their service, honor their courage, and ensure that their legacy endures for generations to come.
